BBL = Barrel ... but I can't see why for the life of me.

This abbreviation is used when talking about carbs but it is also used when discussing gun barrels. It has always stumped me. There is only ONE "B" in barrel!

Anybody have an explanation for this one?

I believe CST is a trim option. The ones with trim top and bottom are CST. Could be mistaken though.

The CST was a option in 67,68,69,and 70. In 1971 the CST package was changed to the Cheyenne package. In my opinion all 67-72 trucks are custom sport trucks.

In '71 and '72, you could still get CST trim on K/5 Blazers (2 and 4wd). I believe the 67-72 'era' is considered to be the Custom Sport Truck era, like the Advanced Design and Task Force preceding it.
