1977-86 6-port dual tank harness kit! NEW!

I now have a limited supply of GM/NOS Pollak fuel selector valves and a NEW replacement harness. Included with this kit is the under dash harness section and the exterior, underbody harness to the selector valve and the 6-port valve itself.

The selector valve is NOT an offshore or sub-standard universal part-it is a genuine Pollack valve who manufactured them for GM originally. Don't put up with a spliced, sectioned or otherwise compromised dual tank harness/fuel valve-finally you can get a completely new kit! Other aspects that my harness includes are a higher temp chemical resistance look than GM, galvanized and insulated clamps (these secure the crossover section of the harness) and j1128 rated cross link automotive Delphi wiring as opposed to the oem acrylic jacketed wiring.

Price is $235 for each kit. This kit will serve any GM truck using a 6-port valve whether it's stock originally setup or if you're converting to one. Price is the same for short box, long box or crew cab. You need to let me know what style you need and how many.

No interest? These will work as a complete kit in 77-up trucks....this is the later design 6-port valve and all NEW better than OEM wiring!

Can you make one to fit an 89-91 square body crew cab?

Do you need the fuel selector wiring only or the fuel pump harness as well?

This is my bull head connector. The top right is where the fuel selector, pumps and tail lights plug in.

I've been working on a design for the tbi trucks...there are other things like the fuel pump module, oil pressure tie-in, fuel pump test lead, ecm leads, etc. that require specific terminals....not really a plug n play kit-I can build a kit as long as all of your underhood components are in their stock locations.

Consider adding a relay to the pump side. The pumps for my ls conversion were too much for the switch. Jay

Oh yeah I'm aware of that....I use the switch as trigger to toggle the second pump-the first pump ideally should simply be relay power via switched IGN source....and switching to aux. kills the primary pump relay signal-fuel level circuit remains as stock.

Re: 1977-86 6-port dual tank harness kit! NEW!

I may need one of these. Im thinking about using dual tanks for LSx swap. During fill ups, Is there a way to feed both gas tank with gas using one filler gas spout? at this time, the driver side doesn't have a filler neck or tank, but there seems to some equipment that leads me to believe it make be dual tank related.

I don't know of any mods for a single fuel neck for dual tanks.

Re: 1977-86 6-port dual tank harness kit! NEW!

I've updated the LS/EFI dual tank harness a little bit to include sealed skirted relays mounted on a 3-bank bracket designed to be installed near the fuse panel inside. So for those who will ordering a kit from now on will see this newer design. This pic shows what the kit currently consists of-you only need to purchase seperately the on/off Delco fuel selector switch. My harness even includes NEW insulated loom clamps to bolt the harness section to the frame crossover bracket just like OEM!

This pic consists of:

Underdash relay bank control, tank selector switch connector and firewall grommet leads.

Underbody harness section which ties into the firewall grommet connectors and firewall bulkhead fuel level sensor cavity to the selector valve and fuel pump connectors.

NEW Pollak 65 psi selector valve

Thanks for the compliments! I try to offer everything as if GM intended for it to be designed so-including custom built harnesses. I really do enjoy building harnesses for everyone-it can be time consuming with everything else I have going on at any one time lol, but eventually I get over the hill!

Re: 1977-86 6-port dual tank harness kit! NEW!

Gmachinz,
Will your EFI kit work for my truck? I'm running stock TBI. I used the entire wire harness from a 1989 Suburban. The truck originally had dual tanks. I have the hole in the dash for the switch and the extra fuel door. However, all of the wiring and plumbing for the extra tank are long gone.

No-the kit I have listed is for aftermarket stand alone fuel delivery-a stock TBI has among other things a fuel control module which ties into the ecm, and various fail-safe no start circuits.

His account has been suspended. If you do some searching under the username I'm sure you can find out why. He did beautiful work though
