On my 1970 gmc I found out today that theres more than just 2 screws holding it on.
Now whats holding it on and how do I get it off? Thanks for help.

The screws hold the lens cap on. If it's still stuck on there you may have to pry it a little. After all, it's been on there for quite a few years presumably.
I think the screws to remove the bulb housing are inside. Either that or from up under the fender. Never had mine off yet.

I think he's talking about the chrome bezel around the tail light lens. If so, there are a few clips holding it on besides the screws. Just pry on it a little and you should be able to get the clips to disengage.
