hacked wiring

Im trying to fix the mess of wires. In my truck! PO had butchered most of the wiring in the truck. I have replaced the main under dash wiring and im trying to fix the engine bay now. Is there a harness available from the plug in the first picture? I have a 350, HEI, internal alt. I have looked at several harnessesand not sure what one I need or if I can just wireit myself.

Re: hacked wiring

The one in my truck was a huge mess. After spending hours trying to fix it I decided to replace it all. I used American Auto wire. I put the classic update in mine. They do make restoration style harnesses and may have what you need. One thing for sure the quality is very good.

Re: hacked wiring

I going through the same thing.I have decided to have the whole truck rewired from one end to the other.my mechanic friend says he will get everything wired up properly lights, guages, heater etc.For around 400 -600 dollars its a alot of money and wiring is not my thing.I have alot invested in the drive train and it gives piece of mind.So never cut corners on the wiring.
