Got with our supplier and got the price back down on these... This is a set of lowering brackets for 1973 thru 1987 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton truck, Suburban and full size Jimmy and Blazer. These brackets relocate the axle on top of the leaf springs, lowering the rear of your ride approx 5 inches. Quick, simple and inexpensive way to get down. New, $35.00 shipped for the pair.

No C-notch required, but you will likely have to trim a little off the bump stops....

I might be interested but I am trying to figure out how you are getting 5".

Maybe I am thinking wrong but on my Suburban my bottom of axle to spring is 3.5" my spring pack is 2 5/8" looking at the pictures it looks like your bracket is 3/8" thick and there is a gap between the bottom of the axle tube and the bracket of at least a 1/4".
I get 6.75" +/- of drop

I do tend to overthink things at times its just the way my brain works but I am still not getting it. I want 5" of drop but I can't see how these are going to get me there without raising it back up 1.75" ( which I am not totally against) What am I missing?

Brackets are approx. 3 1/2 inches overall height.
