Thanks for the heads up John, I'm going to run and find a book, but again, the party was a success because of all you guys coming out and not to mention the "big help" from Kevin, Ace and Mark V., the best friends a guy could ask for. .....And Kudos to Bob and John.

I'm sure you already saw my "home-grown" pics. But just in case somebody wants to remember the day a little and can't get to the mag yet......

http://magwa.smugmug.com/Trucks/5th-...31474082_rmW5k

It was a great day. I'm looking forward to seeing the mag.

Also looking forward to next years' Get-Together. Hope I can help a little more than this year. This year, everybody else did all the work
and I just sat basking in the perfect A****er sun. I'm hoping to bring the rat rod Money Pit. If it's not driveable by then, I've probably
willed it to my grandson...from my grave!

Re: Custom Classic Trucks Magazine Covers C-10 Get-Together

Those bums, I was at the office last Thursday, and no one told me the Feb issue was out.
It might take a few days maybe even a week, or two, but I'll see if I can get the story posted on CCT's website.

Another thing you guys, it's starting to look like CCP's truck show is going to be a don't miss. Don't forget we also have the Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach that starts at 5AM, and there's nothing else in the world like it. Over 500 world class trucks and cars. There was three CCT cover trucks down there this morning, plus Mark Hanna's super nice Unibody that was just in Classic Trucks. Me and Bob Ryder have been going 25 years, we call it church!

"Stinky" Chavez is like Soncho, only much worse.

Shoot, I just put my glasses on, and noticed a few typos. CPP, not CCP, and Sancho, not Sancho.

I wish it was this easy to fix my mistakes when they come out in the magazine.

Re: Custom Classic Trucks Magazine Covers C-10 Get-Together

Dang it, now I'm wondering what the story looks like, and of course I can't remember a word I wrote. Just as soon as I finish spilling bacon and runny eggs all over the front of my shirt I'm gonna jump in the '66 and go to Wal-Mart... dirty shirt and all.

I'm not changing my Levis either.

Good. I never shy away from (truck related) work.

The funny thing about that 17-character handle is that when I was signing on to the Forum for the first time in 2007 (I'm still a newbie), I was having trouble. So I slammed my hams down on my keyboard and said, "F%$* this!"

The screen came up, "Welcome, magwakeenercew2jh". And it's been that way ever since. If I could figure out how to change it, I would. But, it's a good reminder for me not to drink too much coffee before going on line.

Back to work:
