anyone know what this was for? the pic is of pillar on passenger side of 1972 c-30 behind seat.
 heres another weird thing mounted on the go pedal bracket.

The spring is for your spare tire jack and it's associated components. The second picture looks like the bracket for the TH400 and its kickdown assembly on the pedal.

the little spring on the floor holds the jack itself....the one on the piller is for the bag with the jack handle and lug wrench
