Wow nice truck. How many miles are on it. How long have you owned it/ or did you just purchase it?

Great looking truck! Aren't you supposed to post the "before" pictures first in this section?

Awesome truck looks great. To bad every time someone posts up something nice like this someone has to notice something they see to be out of place........

That truck is gorgeous. Looks like you just picked it up from the dealer last week. I really love the color combo too. Very, very nice.

Re: 1973 GMC Camper Special 4x4 Sierra Grande 2500

Thanks for taking a look at my truck. The engine was nasty and needing a rebuild, so that is the major part of the build. I agree the back bumper needs some attention. It is actually bolted on each side into the rear quarter panel down low, so paint will have to be applied after it is replaced. What does everyone recommend for an attractive back bumper ?

The paint on this truck is mostly original. It has survived pretty well. I have owned the truck a couple of years now and bought it from a nice guy in California. He was needing to focus on his family and the truck was not helping that. The engine ran rough and the #8 piston was pretty burnt. It was leaking and burning a ton of oil when I got it. But it is all better now. Now she purrs!!!

Re: 1973 GMC Camper Special 4x4 Sierra Grande 2500

I will get you all of the info on the truck including paint codes after I get back from the NASCAR race this weekend. The truck was well taken care of for sure. Survivor vehicles are my favorites. I have more pictures of my truck on www.chevywagons.com check em out if you want.

Wow that is a beautiful truck

You might consider just cutting off the wrap around sections of the rear bumper.
