Re: Yes or no?

Thats a product you love or hate IMO no.Not on those trucks, maybe something in a mini truck from the 1980s say a ranger, now that would be a improvement on the factors efforts, and dont forget the stearing wheel.

Re: Yes or no?

I say sell them both and put the cash toward a nice tach dash.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe those gauge dash pads sell for around $350 new.

Re: Yes or no?

IMO... dump both, and sell em at a swap meet. If you are buildin a street monster, you can do it with GM options and look good at the same time. If you are goin for a daily driver, go for the stock optioned out gauge panel since it will give all the vitals you will need.

Re: Yes or no?

I'd get rid of them both. If you were going for a "clean" performance truck and smoothed out the interior I'd keep the dash, but if not, get rid of 'em both

If I remember correctly, the dash's are pricey??? Might get some $$$

Re: Yes or no?

Cool dash but no, just doesn't fit. I have a question though, about the purpose of the dash pad, just how many gauges do you need?

Re: Yes or no?

I say No.Keep the K-mart rash of the future off ypour truck. It ain`t custom unless you make it.Otherwise it`s bolt-on bs.All you gain from that, functionally(nothing in looks),is one more gauge hole.I`d rather have a stock dash with one auxilary gauge pod on the column or some other traditional place.I think of gages as a functional enhancement, not cosmetic. This is cosmetic which doesn`t say "performance" or "competition" like bold face in your face gauges do.

Put the gages into a stock dash and have the best of both worlds.

Re: Yes or no?

What do you do for a windshield wiper and headlight switch? I don't see them mounted anywhere else. The dash pad gauges look kind of cool but the cluster looks way out of place on a classic truck. God! I'm sooo tired of all this carbon fiber crap. I wish that fad would just go away!

Re: Yes or no?

I think that guage cluster would look better if it wasn't carbon fiber. Try scuffin it up lightly and painting it black to match the dash pad. Then it would look like it matched a bit better. It's way too shiny at the moment.

Re: Yes or no?

I think those are sweet!!! To hang on your wall. Chevy nailed it when they made the clusters and dash pads for these trucks. Just make some money on em and put the rite stuff back in there.

I like the dash pad with guages, the cluster looks like its been left in the hot sun and got a bit, well, melty so no to the cluster.
