Just out of high school back in 19XX had a '67 firebird with a cammed 326/4 speed, headers and 29" hornies turned down. Loved that sound! My '71 350/350 is stock 'cept for a 'brock, has ram horns flowing into some round, blue glass packs prolly 18" or 24" long, turned down just before the diff. Not real loud, kinda mello. My motor guy wants to put on headers and flows, coming out of a 427 he has earmarked for my ride! Can't wait to hear that!

my exhaust before the engine took a dump. stock exhaust manifolds running through 2 1/4 flowmaster 40 delta flows it was loud i used to piss off the neighbors and set off car alarms. Was about 730 am when i took that video so i kept it below 2500 rpms used to scream when you got on it. can also hear my wonderful screamin fanbelt |

Long tube headers, 2/5in pipe ad 2 Flowmaster 40's, loud with a cammed out 305. louder than my 70 Monte with manifold and glasspacks when I used to have it.

headman headers in to 2 1/2 H pipe 32" chambered mufflers exit behind rear wheels, glad i didn't get 18 " these were OEM Z28 camaros and 427 corvette in the late 60s but GM discontinued them because of law enforcement, they are now been built from orginal blueprints, boy are they loud.

Re: callin out all loud exuast systems!!!
Hedman headers with 3" exhaust running through Flowmasters cut off in front of the axle. It has a drone just above idle that rattles picture frames on the walls of the house. If that's not enough it also has cutouts hehe.

Re: callin out all loud exuast systems!!!
Headers and full length 2 1/2" duals with an H pipe and Walker turbos on my 454 powered '70 c10 stepper with 4:10 gears. somewhat "civil" until until the throttle is tipped, then all hell breaketh loose.
That was prior to the rebuild... I have yet to slip the dogs on the truck. I've pondered going back to side exit exhaust... but I feel sorry for the Muffler guy who spent 6+ hours twisting the pipes around the truck arm suspension... |
