I just picked up a 63 GMC about 2 weeks ago. No pics yet. Should have some posted within a couple weeks. Clean cab, white, fenders off, no bed, AZ truck so not much rust.

I just got this back from the painter...the vin tag on the door jam says it is a 63' plus the heater core is stamped 63' and Harrison on one end to indicate it may be. I also found this bed to put on it after I re-wood and paint. Could it be a very late 63' getting a 64' cab? I bought it off a farm...didn't have any license plates on it, pink nor registration card. jon

here's my 63 swb...i just made her a big window...and did a alot of rust repair on the top rear corners..I'm trying to get her to daily driver status before thanksgiving...

Not new to me by any means - first vehicle I owned, purchased it 30+ years ago from my grandmother as it had been my grandfathers daily driver before he passed away. Drove it for a few years ( even before having a license ) before setting aside for other interest ( 69 Camaro ). Then stashed it away in old cotton warehouse for several years. Now back in hand and I have been motivated to do a little tear down at least. 230 I6 w/ 3 speed ( I learned how to drive a standard transmission in this truck ). May post some more pics in a build thread later.

I mocked up the moldings just before dropping it off at the paint shop.
 ...I'm just a little partial to 1963 model year vehicles.

63 in Tennessee. Truck belonged to my wife's father then her brother who have both passed away. Truck will remain in the family for many years to come. I just got a long road to make safe and easy for the wife to drive.
