I finally finished my side mount spare tire...I decided it looks best on the passenger side though.

You know a spare tire isn't even an option on some of the new Hybrid vehicles. All you get is a small compressor and can of fix-a-flat! Not even kidding.

Name one car that has that?? Toyotas all have spares except the non hybrid AWD sienna vans have runflats.. Thats ridiculous. Let me guess, ford has that kind of spare.

Kyle, it was great meeting with you, and the truck looks awesome. I was wanting to ask the same question that lolife99 did, what kind of MPG are you getting?

And... you should know, racking up over 900+ miles in three months...

I actually haven't really calculated that yet. I know that it's at least 15 mpg but I suspect that not having a bed floor creates some drag and takes some away from that. Also the 3:73's and four speed don't help much either. I'll try and figure it out on the way back to Springfield this morning.

Great looking truck, I'm in the process of starting a long box 67 and I'll be following your mold pretty closely. I'll focus less on the motor, and a bit more on the chassis and driveability (it'll be a daily)
