Cab differences?
What if any is the difference between a 69 C10 cab and a 72C10 cab? I have a 69 that could use a bit of work, rockers, driver floor ect. but its all original with great fitting doors. Just trying to decide which direction to go?
Thanks

Re: Cab differences?
The only 2 things I can think of would be that the 69 had a throttle rod and the 72 had a throttle cable. The 72 mirror mounts to the windshield, where the 69 mirror mounts to the windshield header.
The 72 doors are different, but I guess you would be using your 69 doors anyway. That's all I know that's different for sure, but others who are more knowledgeable might chime in with other differences. Oh, maybe the fuel tank ventilation lines might be different also.

Re: Cab differences?
vin tags are different style. 1 piece 72, and 2 piece 70? and earlier. 72 only has a vent on the drivers door post. some 72s also have part of the vin stamped on pass side floor below heater box by toe kick panel. stamped from the bottom. 68 and back had a different firewall due to the e brake change. hope this helps, glen

Re: Cab differences?
So I could swap the vin tags over and it would then match the title ?
