Protecto Plate Question

I found the protecto plate in the blazer I just purchased and I'm not sure how read it. I can see purchase date and owner name, is there numbers that match the serial number or something else? the stamped letters are tough to read.

thanks

Re: Protecto Plate Question

Nice to have that. One line contains the VIN, another has the engine block code, ex. V0xxxxTDR. Not sure about the others.

Re: Protecto Plate Question

Thanks Deadhead, that make sense but the plate is very rusty, not so sure it's for my blazer.
