I've not done the thinning of the PCM like you did, and I hooked it up with with all the connectors attached to the wires, but it does looks interesting. Where/how did you learn to thin the harness?
from Brandon aka the "Godfather" of LS Swap wiring - he has a *****in' website lt1swap.com that has all the detail of the pin outs and does a three part video series on You Tube on how to do it wire by wire, I watched the videos a dozen times there is a lot going on in them and he does not edit anything out, please give it a go
