Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

My 72 Chevy with my 78 Freightliner, the first year of the Big Cam, this one had the recall on the cam followers, also one of the first that had just the Freightline logo, previous years were White Freightliner.

i took that pic with my phone, I'll have to figure out out how to make it bigger.

Hummm. Don't think I ever posted a pic of my truck on this thread.
Since the pics, the wheels have another 1" wider "stance".
Driving her now.

Looks like you were pulling it through the mountains. Where did you find it? Is the first pic where you picked it up?

Well sure, Burbs and Blazers usually are just trucks with either too much growth hormone or they were left at the dealership too long. Kinda like children, if ya leave em in the oven too long that get bigger :-P

Nah, I didn't. My dad picked it up. It was only about a 2 hr ride for him to get it... Unless you count the flat tire he got on the Uhaul trailer on the way home.
That ended up being a 6 hr trip (2 hrs+ 4 waiting on Uhaul customer service -or lack thereof)

I agree the 67-72's are my favorites, had 5 2wd's and 2 4x4's twice each, but now have an 81 1ton and still have eyes for the old ones.
