anyone have experience with using Sierra Grande bedside repro emblems

Hello Folks,
I am considering replacing my tired and slightly pitted script "Sierra Grande" emblems that go on the rear quarter panels of the bedside. Here is my concern:

1) The originals had two pins and also a lot of double-sided mastic/adhesive of some sort on the backside. From what I can see the pins were only used for alignment of the script for proper installation, and that the emblem was essentially glued onto the bedside. I have never seen the screw-on nuts on the pins.
2) The reproduction emblems have 4 small pins and no adhesive on the back of any sort.
3) It would appear that the new emblems are designed to be held on by the four pins.
4) Do any of these four pins line up with the two original holes in the truck bedside?
5) I would hate to end up with a total of six holes in the side of my truck.
6) Does anyone have any experience with this product?
Thank you, George
