Digital needle gauges

Any of you guys have any experience with aftermarket analog needle style gauges other than Dakota digital? Was leaning toward vhx but it's hard to spend 800 plus dollars on gauges now

I have an almost brand new set of the VHX gauges I'm going to be selling shortly for a nice discount. I added AC to my truck and want all the backlighting to match.

Dakota is definitely the leader in aftermarket gauges...read that the other guys have little glitches in the the steppers and lighting.

I agree with silver. Many others out there are cheaper but I have read they have little glitches. My first set of gauges were the VHX and I have had ZERO problems (7 years now..WOW). The last set were the HDX and I love them and cant wait to get the truck on the road to enjoy them.
The main reason I purchased them was the BIM-17 module that allowed me to connect to the OBDII port and retrieve all the information from the computer. Only the oil pressure needed a separate connection and I think they may have figured that out now.
They are pricey but since I didn't have to figure out each wire and how to get it to the gauges and read correctly, was worth it I think...
