Thanks!

I realize I haven't updated this in forever! I finished the truck a back in September of 2013. Drove it around for 2 years and enjoyed it but it just wasn't everything it could be.

I tore it down this spring. Sold the chassis and drivetrain and got a stock chassis back. Bought a 5.3l ls engine and 4l80e trans and started the new build.

The new build should be pretty sweet.

Engine: 2001 5.3l ls
k1 Technology rods
wiesco pistons
total seal rings
ls9 head gaskets
arp mains
arp head studs
BTR stage 2 cam
BTR dual valve springs with titanium retainers
BW S480 turbo
Holley Highram intake
Nick Williams 102mm throttle body

the goal is 1,000 hp at the crank

Trans: 4l80e built to handle the power

Fuel: A1000 fuel cell and pump
Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc injectors

Suspension: No limit Engineering Air Glide chassis kit with a Currie 9in

Brakes: Wilwood 6 pistons in the front and 4 pistons in the rear

Wheels/ Tires: Mobsteel 20in smoothies 20x9 in the front and 20x11 in the rear with 245's in the front and 315 extreme contact dsw06's.

The interior should be pretty awesome as well I had Jeremy Jordan at Hand Made Seat Co. make me some custom bomber seats. The plan is to make door panels and a center console to match them myself.

For the last 3 months i've just accumulating parts on november 7th the frame goes to Wicked Welds to have the suspension installed and an Nsane hotrodz firewall put in as well as a drive shaft tunnel. The motor is at the machine shop right now getting machined.

Wow! When I was reading about dropped axle, 235 with 2 carbs, closed drive, etc., I sure wasn't expecting this! I'm in.

Yep just got my truck back from the shop, they installed the No Limit air glide kit for me. The built a bigger notch in the rear to allow the truck to sit lower. It now lays frame with these tires on it. The tires im planning on running are a little taller but it should still lay running board.

They also installed the new smooth firewall from Nsane hotrods. As well as built a trans tunnel for me.

I couldn't help myself when I got it home I had to throw the front end on with a couple bolts just to see what it looked like.

Now the real work begins.
