2014 Silverado A\C Blowing Hot.

The A\C in my 2014 Silverado just quit working and after doing some searches I've found that its a pretty common problem. Has anyone on here experienced this and were you able to get GM to do anything about it (out of warranty)? sounds like they are denying its a problem even though there are a few TSB about it.

Re: 2014 Silverado A\C Blowing Hot.

It could be a blend door, could be your compressor or the switch that activates it, or could be just low on Freon. I would check freon level first as if it hits a certain level, it just quits.

Re: 2014 Silverado A\C Blowing Hot.

TSB's are just service information. You're waaay out of warranty on that...GM is not involved anymore. Yes its a problem on those trucks and they fixed many under warranty. Condenser failure is common, there is an updated part. I think there is a hose or line rub issue too. We do quite a few in my shop. If the compressor, condenser, line etc get replaced its expensive, sorry : (
