Seat swap advice 2011 Silverado

Buddy has a nice 2011 Silverado with the cloth charcoal seats. It's a four door. He's thinking a set of leather seats would be a nice swap. Looking at Car-part.com, I see the choices. Am I safe to grab the non heat/cooled leather for a straight bolt in? Anyone try wiring up the heated ones? I do have a SnapOn Solus if we need to deal with air bag stuff.

How about Escalade seats?

Not positive, but most vehicles now days seem to have the full harness from factory and you just add the stuff to it. It should not be hard to swap cloth to leather seats and make the electronics work. even if the harness does not come equipped fully from the factory. Good luck with the project

Re: Seat swap advice 2011 Silverado

Switching from cloth to leather seats should't be an issue as long as they're the same style.

You could also just do a set of leather covers to fit the existing seats. I have installed several sets of Katzkin leather covers and they fit good.

Yes, seats up here are crazy! 1000-1500 a set. I told him to order Katzkins.
