WTB: Inner heater box/core parts SEE PIC

I need these parts. They hold the heater core in place in the box. I do not know what they are called, but mine are all rusted. Need a good set. Thanks.

I have a few good pairs but I will not be home until late Sunday. If you have not found any by then, I will get pictures and price. Thanks

Fred and Midnite Blues,

They look different, but maybe they would work. How tall are they and how far apart are the screw holes, center to center? Also, do you have a good clip like this one? I just figured out this is not part of the heater core.

Are these parts from an A/C truck or a non A/C truck? I am thinking that you have an A/C truck. Where does the line holder go? Does it fit in the box?

I think what you are looking for is out of an a/c truck. Here is what I have from a 67 a/c box. I have not measured them but I can if I need to. $20.00 shipped to you USPS First Class Mail or $23.00 USPS Priority Mail. Thanks

Re: WTB: Inner heater box/core parts SEE PIC

Todd, thanks for the great parts. But evidently the earlier models had a different heater core. These pieces are too tall.

So I am still looking, but I need the ones like these that wrap around the tubes of a heater core of a truck with AC. The ones I need are just about 1 7/8" tall. The ones from Todd are 2 1/4".

If anyone can help let me know.

They said we needed to measure and I did not. Sorry about that. Let me look tommorow an see if I have any others. I will let you know and we will swap them out of something. Is the extra part that holds the line correct? Sorry again.

Don't worry about it. You and I both thought we knew what they were. If you have some of the shorter ones that would be great. Let me know. The clip for the tubes is an exact match. Thanks.

I pulled a HVAC box out of a 72 and it looks like it has the correct ones. The one is a little rusty on the end but still checks solid. I will send these to you tomorrow USPS Priority Mail. I will give you $3.60 back to cover the shipping and you can send me the wrong ones back. USPS First Class Mail. Thanks

Re: WTB: Inner heater box/core parts SEE PIC

These definitely look right looking at the tape measure. I appreciate it. Dont worry about the shipping money. But if you can pull together a couple of extra screws that hold the diverter box, s-duct and main piece where the defrost ducts starts that would be helpful. I have a few but I seem to be missing a few of those screws as well. If you dont have them no problem. Thanks. Send me your return address as well.

I might have the screws but all my stuff is disassembled or partially disassembled. Do you have a picture? I have boxes and trays of bolts and screws so get me a picture and I will see what I can come up with. Thanks

These screws have a 5/16 head and are right at 1/2 inch in total length. I need about 4 of them. Thanks.

Todd, One more thing. Do you have any good black defroster vents? If so how much to sell them? Thanks.

Re: WTB: Inner heater box/core parts SEE PIC

Here is what I have. I think these are the screws that you need. The only defrost ducts that I have in black are these. The bottom of them are not black so they may be painted. $6.00 extra if you want the vents. I am not sure if the a/c trucks use one round and one oval vent or not. Do you know what you need?

Ok yesterday I could not get on here and then when I did it would kick me off. Know I can not post pictures?? I will send them to the email that you paid from.
