Hard starting?
i have a 93 gmc that i just traded my 70 c10 for and the thing is hard to start after it warms up,almost like it is flooding but it is a tbi.
i am thinking module or coil but am uncertain. the truck starts fine but runs a little rough. it has a 350 5 spd in it. all i have done to it so far is changed the fuel filter plugs and wires,no i didnt cross em. but this has me stumped cause i have to crank the heck out of it to get it to start when it gets to operating temps.

I have seen those same symptoms and replaced the module to fix it. See if you can find some one local with a module tester and check it when it's hot. Or pick one up from Snap-On. I don't think they were that bad (price).

just finished up replacing the module, couldnt sleep and took it to an all night parts store here.
module was bad and coil was weak,so i bought both of them. good news its starts better and idles good. bad news is it misses under load and has no power, guess i will be checking for fouled plugs and see what else is going on. may be checking o-2 sensors next and maybe the map sensor as well. could be the cat is plugged, this truck has 215 thousand miles on it and the cat could be plugged.
