Re: North Carolina flooding
I can't seem to search a news story up w/o having to take a survey first. But I see headlines bringing up the Roanoke, VA area. We'd had rain in our forecast since Tuesday for all week at least through Sunday due to this stalled system. Fortunate for us we've been on the far outer edge and so far no widespread steady rain. Even had sunshine a large part of the day. I think it's expected to coast up this way. We'll see. There was a lot of flooding two years ago in Southern VA and NC. I found pictures and it must be pretty bad.
That is bad flooding! This is I-95. Never seen anything like it. These hiways are thoroughly planned and engineered. This is flooding like nothing ever anticipated

Re: North Carolina flooding
I'm in SC but here is one head line from this past week.
We are 36" over our monthly rain fall for May and June isn't looking any less. For SC and I'm sure NC is pretty much the same. https://www.wral.com/creeks-swell-da...omes/19147928/
