Let’s see your custom shift knobs and levers

Did this after I changed the trans to a T5 and added a custom shifter.

Re: Let’s see your custom shift knobs and levers

Fixed it.

I have no cool shift knobs. I've been looking for one for my Packard. But so far i'm coming up empty. They are usually way too expensive or lame.

Re: Let’s see your custom shift knobs and levers

On my 72 I made it from a chunk of walnut from my firewood , the one on my Tacoma is maple again from firewood. The ball I used fast pour epoxy kept the knob on the drill and set it to turn slowly so i didnt get any runs. Two coats

I told the owl a joke and he didn't get it.

But to answer your question. To straighten a picture go to the gallery on this site. It's on the toolbar on top. Upload the picture.Once it's there crooked and all then hit edit. It's on the right. You can rotate them clockwise or counterclockwise. Whatever floats your boat. I prefer clockwise because I was dropped on my head as a child.

It's pretty easy. If a moron like me can do it any normal person can.

What I used for a while on my old 64. Off a 5 Hp Briggs-Stratton. IT was a bit bulky, but looked good.

Re: Let’s see your custom shift knobs and levers

I kept the pistons out of 100cc and 70cc Honda motorcycles I rebuilt for just this reason. Cam shaft out of the 70cc as well. Right now they are just shop art on a shelf above the door.

Working with resin looks like fun, but I know it’s not cheap. Gotta look for one of those pressure pots.
