NY WTB: Dana 44 front axle or parts - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm looking for someone who no longer needs their mid 70's (73-78) Dana 44 front axle or who has parts. Maybe someone who upgraded their front axle and has a good 6-lug front axle.

I have a 70 K10 with open knuckle design (1-year only) and want to do a front disc brake conversion. I could either swap out the axle (as long as its 3.73 ratio), or i'd be interested in parts from knuckles out to do the swap.

Let me know what you have. Of course close proximity to Buffalo, NY is key for the axle, or I'll be going to Carlisle in the fall. Thanks.

Looks like I may have something from Lane224, but would like to keep my options open, especially if someone has a 3.73 Dana 44 that I could swap right in.
