Depends on location and quality expectations.

Here in MA it ranges from $50-$100 per hour. Most are closer to $100. The guy I will be using in the spring is $75/hour. Looking at 300-400 + hours on my Blazer

Re: Paint and body per hour

I thought about a promo during the covid of labor like back when I opened in 1987 Like $ 27.50 per hour. but I didn't. I'm not sure I'm really ready to be full open to the public. I can go out do do some tinkering and I have built my wife a Buford Enclave to get her back in a SUV. I check like most of the scare factors like old, fat, heart disease and others. Plus my dad is 91 he still goes to the shop everyday and mom is 89 I would hate to drag that into their lives or mine. I would do some work for someone and kind of stay low if need be. Our numbers are up scary in AR

Do you mean what is being done that will take 3-400 hours?

Strip to bare metal, everything.

repair top of both quarters where they welded a cap on.

fix dent on lower driver quarter.

Fix holes on drivers quarter in front of wheels.

Install inner and outer rockers and kick panels on both passenger and drivers side along with 2-4" of the floor where it meets the rocker panels.

Install NOS truck door. Cut down to fit Blazer. Weld reinforcement plate to NOS door.

Install NOS tailgate.

Repair passenger door (been looking for a good or NOS passenger door with no luck). Might end up using reproduction.

Weld in radio patch panel where previous owner cut for radio.

Looking into a 1968 front clip. If I find one (I might have) swap my front clip for the 1968 front clip.

Align all gaps and prepare for paint. This guy uses less than a pint of filler on most vehicles. He truly is an old school craftsman.

Paint then reinstall AC and door components, lights, and grill.

I plan on finishing interior myself or later. I have enough put aside in case it goes to 500 hours. I hope it does not!

In AZ its $50-100. If you want a show truck any reputable shop is going to be on the higher end and have a few hundred hours in it, assuming it's never been restored.
