Amen brother. I'll take the good stuff and take my chances. I've already outlived two of my doctors that were giving me advice on being healthy.

As far as I could tell, he completely ignored you.

I am going to guess he never filed the paperwork to get one of them back.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.

Re: 20 Years

We sent the paperwork in for the second time overnight mail again.(another 26 bucks) And my wife keeps calling to the point that they know who she is. She has an unusual name. So they know we're here. I don't know what more we can do except keep bugging them and jump through their hoops.

And there was a $20 fee. And they cashed the check. So we're 72 bucks into this already. And we have a paper trail. We're trying.

Re: 20 Years

Just my personal opinion, Paul...... Something is very wrong when a simple task becomes difficult and costly. IMHO, it should be a matter of proving you are the rightful owner (two forms of ID, maybe) and having the item returned. Nothing else.

This is not the first time I have tended to boil things down to the basics. Guess I never understood why things need to be so complicated in the first place.

For what it's worth, you & your wife have my sympathy, and I sincerely hope your efforts pay off.

Re: 20 Years

I'm pretty sure that here you could go to the sheriffs office, show your ID and take your property home.

I wish it was that easy. You would think it would be. It should be. But it isn't. We've got to get through a lot of red tape. Maybe because it's a firearm. I don't know. But this is what they're telling us and it's 200 miles away.

Re: 20 Years

I just came into possession of a brand new weapon that a friend of a friend won and she did not want it . I bought it for half its value , her price , and free shells . I love a deal like that . Hope you get yours figured out soon .
