Stupid vid messing up everything

7 weeks ago almost I T-boned someone who ran a stop sign, and i have been stuck in rentals ever since. It took 4 weeks for the body to get fixed. With a almost 2 week delay due to lack of parts.

Then the evap coil would not hold pressure, and it has been at a local dealer since getting worked on. Complicated by trying to do a easy repair first, and lack of available parts.

I can't go on vacation with the rental car because I do not want the liability of taking it down dort roads, and since it doesn't have a bed to sleep in. That doesn't help either.

Plus I can not take it to see how screwed I will get on a trade in, and all the cheap vans I liked have been gone for awhile now. There is a decent selection of 12,500-15,000 3/4 ton vans, but i want to get out of debt totally.

On the plus side used truck values seem to trickling up for now.
