(I'm not knocking your work or anything because your truck turned out really nice) It just seems so hard to clean a well used garage or shop to be dust free and then get a good fire proof suction system going. I've used box fans before but man it makes me pretty dang nervous. The next thing I paint in my shop I'm going to try one of those plastic paint booths out. Just to try and minimize the dirt and dust falling from the ceiling and stuff.

Yep, all body work was done in the garage. Not my garage (the new one), but my brothers. We did a thorough cleaning with the air hose a few days before and always vacuumed up any mess we made as we worked. He has a large exhaust fan in the back of the garage. I'd agree with you both - if you had the opportunity to use a professional booth, I would.
