Ac parts swap

I have a 87 c10 cab had a 305 from the factory , my dad
Found an 85 cheyenne pretty much with a complete ac system do you guys think that will fit
Or are there a lot of differences? I have only the stuff in the cab and im missing everything
Else pretty much.

First question is if the 87 had A/C from the factory.

The reason I ask is that A/C and non-A/C trucks had different firewall openings. So if the 87 did NOT have A/C originally, you will have to modify the firewall to accept the A/C parts.

Not that this cant be done, just that you need to know it going in.

Yes it did right now it has a 350, th350 4x4 originally it was a 2wd 305
I believe the frame is 85 maybe 86 not sure though

Not the expert on differences per year, I think if they were mounted on the same side, you would be good to go.
