Holes for headliner?

I see the holes for the headliner, but there are two small holes in between the headliner area and the cab light. Those aren't needed for the headliner are they? I'm guessing those are some modification that the previous owner made? Should I fill them in?

Well, you can't actually see the one on the left unless you squint, but you can see the one to the right of the cab light.

Re: Holes for headliner?

I noticed that there are some below the rear window also. I'm going to guess these were for a gun rack.

Re: Holes for headliner?

My guess is it might be a hat holder? there was athread a while back about them.

I know there were several manufactures that made gun racks, (which means different
mounting methods) but mine has the mounting holes down more towards the window.

Are there some other holes toward the windshield? Just guessing.
