It's worse than you think. Your doors, rocker panels, and running boards are melting too.

Or maybe it's the lens on your camera that's melting.

Re: ga. heat

It'll be over 110* for months here. And my job includes moving the car lot around. A lot full of black leather interiors. In the sun. When its 110+ out.

Its so hot the nerves start to die and it starts to feel cold when you sit inside one. Freaking weird.

Re: ga. heat

I'm almost afraid to tell you guys this.....

I left at daybreak to hike the trails with one of our dogs. It was 32* so I wore a light jacket & gloves.

Right now it's almost 5:30 pm and a very comfortable 68*. Supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow. Perfect fall weather.

Re: ga. heat

Been in the lower 90's here all week but supposed to be a high of only about 80 tomorrow. I am ready for fall. A good long run of lows in the 50's and highs in the 70's would be great. I'd get some work done outside and on the truck as well.

My shop does not have A/C so I've not done a whole lot lately waiting on it to cool down a bit.

Re: ga. heat

This has been a really hot summer here.
Most days are 96 to 100,plus the humidity.Heat index is way up there too!
I wonder just how many high temp records have been broken across the southeast?
Most of the southeast is under a burn ban too!
Left front grew a bump on the wife's car.2 new tires!
Ya"ll check those tire pressures and look for "lumps".
Mike.

Re: ga. heat

Meanwhile, we've been burning wood in the stove for the past six days. We didn't get the four feet of snow out here on the east side, but we had about 1.5" of rain mixed with snow over that time. The roads are a muddy mess.

It's supposed to get up into the 50's with some sun today.

So the trim isn't bowed.

I was gonna say, I've never seen the trim on a square do that before.

My phone does weird things too, some of the pics I've taken of my home reno come out looking like a fun house, but for the most part, my walls were all somewhat square/level.
