Preventing 1st posts in Product Review, Site Feedback, or Member dealing
Everytime I see an ultra low post count in any of those sections (product review, site feedback, member dealing)....its always someone that created an account specifically to complain about something. 25%+ of threads in the product reviews section that are negative are from members who joined ONLY to make that thread, respond to that thread, then NEVER contribute to anything else.
Personally, I think that 1st posts shouldn't be in those sections, its a losing battle; It seems to me that those threads aren't really for the "benefit" of anyone, and usually boil down to a general inexperience with either the automotive aftermarket, or forum culture. Joining a forum to complain about a product creates the same sort of negative, cynical, vocal minority that doesn't help or advance the greater community. Requiring someone to take part in an attempt at meaningful correspondence with other members might in fact SOLVE the problem/question/complaint at hand, and result in a net GAIN for the community...instead of something that just comes off like a whiny yelp review.

This would be a good use of the report a post feature. If you see one you feel needs looking into, report it. That is why the system is in place.
