What would you do?(belt molding)

I've got a neighbor who's got a set of straight rust free doors and an excellent driver condition complete belt molding set from a '71 C/10. He said to make him an offer on the parts and we settled on $150 for the set of doors but I really know nothing about the value of the trim. Hopefully this doesn't get locked as I'm not looking for a value to sell something I'm only trying to figure a fair number to offer him. The moldings only really need polished and the black anodizing is faded but They are straight and extra-hole free. I'm not trying to violate the rules in any way.
Thanks guys and mods if you've got to lock it up I understand
*edit just subscribed, been meaning to do it for a while now!*

Re: What would you do?(belt molding)

It's understandable your not trying to violate forum rules but it is a WIW question. I always check the parts section to get an idea of what the asking prices are, AND the purchase price if available. It's hard to figure the price of OEM, because there's rarely aftermarket parts that match the quality and fitment. Best of luck!

You are a subscribing member and as such can post WIW threads. There is a WIW section on the board. I would take pics and post a thread there asking what it is worth.
