why will it spin both for about a car distance and one takes over spining do limted slip have clutches to

could be worn out, its 30 years old remember..... time to replace those clutch plates and add posi additive fluid !

If you are rebuilding ,dont forget the springs. I think you can get about 3 different tensions on the springs(lb ratings). If you are on the street,go for the litest set(stock replacement),the others are too stiff,& will cause the unit to "hop" when cornering.........69 longhorn
