Briank, did you get the trailer too? I was just looking at the ad again. What a great buy.

Re: Post your C/L finds!

I didnt buy the trailer even though it would have added to the story and all their trips to Baja but I didnt want to pay to ship the trailer. It would have probably cost the same to ship the trailer as it did the Jimmy. I wonder if the tow hooks are hickey or factory. Those tires are gonna get replaced to...probably keep the rims but the tires look bad but he bought those in a pinch on his trek from Cali to Wahington. I cant wait until it shows up...has all the original paperwork including the window sticker..protecto plate..bill of sale etc. The original glovebox door also has stickers all over it from the original owners travels.

I thought that was a pretty good buy. Neat history to it. I would take a lot of the extra stuff added to it off. IMO. Jimmy's are hard to find! Hope you enjoy it like I enjoy mine!

Re: Post your C/L finds!

That was a pretty cool K5. I was tempted, but just out of the price range for up here unfortunately. No surprise it ended up going back east though lol, lots from here end up out there. It will definitely be a fun project.

Here's a 72 CST that's been lingering on the local CL for a long time. Has a galles Chevrolet decal so assume locally sold originally and paint looks OEM. Missing buckets. https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/6193088794.html
