Re: Worth $5k?

Gonna go look at it today. Guy said it had a bit of drip rail rust and a cab corner.

Drip rail rust is the wildcard.

Re: Worth $5k?

If the drip rail just has surface rust (the caulking does cracked and break away sometimes), it sure looks like a 5k truck to me. Tool box door looks rust free.

Sounds reasonable from the pics so far.

Re: Worth $5k?

Looks good to me based on what you've shown

Get one of the bore scope cameras and look in the drivers side interior lower cab corner (might find some 1960's coins) and up into the ceiling and roof space through the sun visor swivel mounting holes.

I'd also look under the door sill plates with a good light

But you could part that out for I think more than 5K just judging by the bed and the fenders and the trim and the doors and window glass; interior and dash parts etc..

Re: Worth $5k?

No rust around the top of the windshield?

The grill is painted black so whole truck could be a repaint with a quick bondo job so be careful, use small round refrigerator magnets to check for bondo.

The grill surround looks like it might be painted silver too.
