Stock replacement shocks for 1978 Jimmy 4x4

I went to Oreillys website to order some
New shocks and they come in 4 different lengths. Which ones are ideal for stock replacement.

Re: Stock replacement shocks for 1978 Jimmy 4x4

This isn't going to directly answer your question but may help. I ordered shocks from Rock Auto because they were clearing them out at big discounts. They still have them on sale. There are listings for Economy, Stock Ride Quality, Heavy Duty, Increased Handling/Performance and Adjustable. I purchased AYB shocks (recommended by a mechanic as really good shocks) at a fraction of the cost from local parts stores.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction.
BTW, Summit will price match (so I hear) with free shipping on orders over $99 and returns would be much easier if there is a problem.
You might check Rock Auto to find what you want and see if Summit can match price w/ free shipping. Just trying to run some information past you to help you make an informed decision.
Good luck

I get most of my parts from Rock Auto. I'd pick something from their stock replacement category and forget about it. I know that doesn't help you with the length question but I would trust what they recommend.

I went with the KYB’s from Rock Auto and their Rancho Steering Damper. Prices could not be beat. Thanks guys.
