Love of squarebody

So just signed up after finally getting my hands on a desired squarebody.

So I traded up a pair of times and ended up being able to claim ownership of this 77 GMC crew cab dually. Long ways away from ultimate goal, but don't believe I could have stumbled across a better starter to get my hands on.

As is, 2wd, 350/th350, big ten rear. Flat bed I need to sell and snag original. Better yet, start the brain storming on drop.

I roll oil field big rigs so I have a connection on getting hands on big 22.5s and that's the goal. Well here is the ol girl and look forward to anyone willing to share or offer suggestions. Last but not least the extra set of interior components, 4 full doors etc...

Re: Love of squarebody

I'll snag and post the interior tomorrow after work. Been super busy, between other house projects the ol lady is dedicating top of the to do list, I'm just stuck to researching and nickel and diming for parts when ready(allowed ) to toss money at.

Researching 22.5 swap since I run crude here in Colorado and boss man will hook me up with spares if decide to. Debating static vs bags. Keep flatbed and tweaking to my liking or go original once stumble across one.

Most definitely, makes it all more rewarding I believe came out on top as I traded a base model 97 sierra purely because he wanted a 4x4. Truck came with butt load of extra parts. Full door set, full additional interior kit in tan compared to factory red. Thank you tho, the flatbed is gone and as of now I was able to track down a factory bed in better than normal condition.

Re: Love of squarebody

Apologize for dropping the teaser build and then going dark. Been drowning in every day and newly transferred careers. Then add in weather. Not to go unappreciated as she patiently waits on the back burner...i have been accumulating parts and direction for build. Next chance I get I'll snap pictures of parts and new bed added. Anywho...got a full out system for baggin er. Aware the kit isn't top shelf of choices available, but for price and package deal I couldn't pass. Got a 8" frame drop notch to weld in and casually researching and shrinking down a handful of touches when weather allows. Stay tuned if curious.

On a side note, anyone willing to chime in have a few suggestions as far as mirrors, rim size, etc. Wanna keep it mild but still a flavorful touch of change.
