Dakota Digital VHX question.

What are peoples thoughts on these? Are they easy to install? Can you use the stock gear shift indicator and turn signal indicator with them? Any other pros/cons.

TIA!

Yes to both your questions. Here is a link to the install instructions.

Just received a VHX for my ‘74 on Thursday, but not ready to install it. It looks straight forward and simple. Manuals seem well organized and the quality is good. I’m not using the stock gear selector so I also ordered their GSS-2000 gear selector for $96.

Re: Dakota Digital VHX question.

These are very nice, fit is pretty good, though on ours, I had to loosen the screws on the bracket on the back side to achieve a good fit. The only thing I don't like about them is the numerals on the speedo are a little small, but they have a new style out now, I do believe they're called RTX ?, these look very nice, but are a little more money. If I were to do it again I would spring for these.
Regarding the gear shift indicator, it doesn't work too good for trying to use it the way they have it setup for using the stock style. As mentioned above they have the GSS-2000 available as an option.
