So I'm finally getting my truck painted, 5 years into this project. Of course I did all the research here and on Stovebolt about the original interior color. I gave the painter the PPG 27467 code and his supplier could not match it to anything currently made. So I bought a can of the Rustoleum 7272380 and we did a spray-out and went to the color chips to find a match.

I found a color that comes darn close, it's Sherwin Williams 45800. To my finicky eye it's a little more to the gray side and a little less brown than the Rustoleum, but the Rustoleum isn't a perfect match either.

So there's another paint code you guys can use. And yet more mystery and confusion to this topic.

I've found that if it exists for these trucks The Filling Station usually lists it.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
