Re: Can the frame be fixed

Looks great and your frame guy did a heck of a job for a very reasonable price. Guys around here wouldn't even put a truck on a machine for under 300 let alone fix it.

Re: Can the frame be fixed

Good to see C20's back in service. Mine's still a long ways off.

So are you going to let your brother borrow it to run to the lumber yard? Blood runs deeper than steel...

By the way, is that a boat tail Riv hood in the back ground?

Re: Can the frame be fixed

Nice! My frame is bent from an accident recently as well. I found another frame to go under my truck. My truck frame is a leaf sprung rear, and I found a frame with a coil sprung rear like I've been wanting anyways.

Glad to see it got straightened out for you at a smokin' good price!

Re: Can the frame be fixed

Tore the 400 dollar bed apart to get the truck out, The seller dropped it on the side of the house and blocked the truck in the yard. I don't have endless minions to help move stuff around.
Only about 20 bolts holding it together. PB is such good stuff. Must sandblast these parts now. The guy that did the bent frame was the Spokane Police frame guy for 40 years. He is good!
I am selling my bed for 150.00 in the picture and people want a new bed it seems for the price,

Floor side needs blasted too. I'll have to eat Top Ramen for awhile to find the money for this...

That's a '69 Grand Prix 428 hood waiting for TLC along with a '72 Formula. This truck takes a ton of cash to just make a truck that just does parts/dump runs.

Maybe. remove the bad stuff and you will feel better. I got 35.00 "beer money" at the recycler for fender and hood and other parts. When I have cash, there's "no" parts around to get . When I am tapped out, They are all over Cragslist.

Re: Can the frame be fixed

I knew that hood was off a Grand Prix. My first car was a 1969 Grand Prix SJ with a 428. I bought it when I was 15 for $500 in 1984. It was black with a black vinyl top and a saddle interior. That car had 80,000 on it when I got it and it would still run down the highway like an Indy car. I spent almost a year having it repainted, a new top put on, new tires and of course a stereo just waiting for the day I turned 16 and I could drive it by myself. I love the picture of your car, you just brought back a whole lot of memories. I also had a 74' formula and that thing was a fun ride too.

Strickers Donut shop was a block away
to this guys frame shop. We rode bikes there a lot as kids and knew him since the 60's. I seen some nasty accidents at his place. Amazing how many cop cars get crashed! It's a small and simple shop. see if I can get a picture.

Here's a pic of Pat's frame shop.

Re: Can the frame be fixed

Sold the bed today for 100.00. Guy from Montana drove 4 hours to get it. Wow!. Now I see how bad the cab corners are rotted out. Got the van tilt column in along with the '99 Tahoe 60/40 seat to drive it around too!!! I have patch panels but MORE MONEY . I love it anyway.
