Remove ac in 1996 s10

i want to cut out the AC but use the heater core...how can i remove all the AC components and use the heater core?

My 1996 S10 has a large AC box under the hood that simply will not work on my old truck swap ....I can modify a box and use just the blower motor in it if that is all i need for the heater....

if i do not need the big "filter" inside the box i will not use it...i believe it only helps the AC...

All that said.....how can i remove my AC without any added problems??
