Re: 69 jimmy winshield pillar

No one reproduces the windshield frames other than the inside to piece where rearview bolts etc. That is why good ones are expensive Wes(Vendor) was in the process of having the entire frame repoed

Welcome to the board. You might want to get a paying membership and post a wanted to buy ad in the parts section. Many people sell them off if they are parting out a rig with a solid windshield frame.

Re: 69 jimmy winshield pillar

Thanks for the info
I havent purchased the truck yet.
It's a 69 jimmy runs and drives great but need rockers, flor pans,
and the pillar. The rest of the truck is solid. Owner asking $2,500
Is it worth that?

Re: 69 jimmy winshield pillar

They didn't make the Jimmy in '69. First production year for the Jimmy was 70. Blazers were made in 69.

Can ya post pictures of the rig. My guess is you are right on the boarder of what is it worth. With these rigs, if you can see rust, there is probably just as much, if not more, hidden. Are the rocker boxes solid? This is the area below the floors between the rocker panels and the frame. It is a key structural part of the rig when the top is off.

Mine was produced in Nov of 69 but is still a 70 on the tittle. So don't go by the production date.
