I suspect that the grounds behind door # 2 are internal grounds for the throttle body mounted sensors. Which means they are still depending on the mounting studs for an overall ground.

It is currently 27 degree's were my car is stored and dark...
Don't need much light I have done this far to many times.
Put STD body back on..........
SO what do you think happened?

BANG...half a turn and it runs very nicely...
BUT to be fair I really need put the adder back on to see what happens....
Well maybe I should swap out the idle control first????

Ray,
Since you have both the standard and the adder, can you see a physical difference between them?
I'm curious if it's a added feature and software or just software that makes a difference.

Also what injector size are they?

Ray here.

I was told by Fitech that you could not upgrade a std to a adder because the body's were different as you can tell I have had a bit more apart than most consumers.......I cant see it!! but I keep looking.

I was also told the controllers were also completely different....
The only difference is the chip......(removable one)

I thought they were GM injectors, not GM like injectors. I wonder how they compare to a GM injector, as in durability?

Ray here. Again...

On the air controllers thing the one from the adder I cant move by hand.
The one from the std I can move by hand.. it my have been luck of the draw
that when I put it in it ran fine. Keep in mind the motor had already been running...

Update on that...One is meant to be used with presser and one with vacuum only.???..... Will go back down that road when things cool down...Maybe the adder one works to slow???

If someone can read the part number on there's just to make shore am not just reading production codes. that would be nice...

You all realize that Fuel Injectors Technologies is a china man company that makes injectors right? Fuel Injectors Technologies aka FiTech USA makes injectors to compete with Bosch and others. Jermey the cofounder worked overseas for Fuel injectors Technologies the injector company. Fuel injector Technologies is the parent company to FiTech EFI USA.

Nope! And no response from Ken or Jermey a little pissed off about that. As much as I have said good and posted and told and showed people and as good as they have been on the phone and emails not hearing from them in 4 or 5 days is not cool. I can call FiTech but I want to speak with the main 2 cogs.

I know it's the holidays, but this is a pivot point for them.

So Ray and I have the same issue both with power adders. So it is either a software issue a setting issue something. They have to know about this. I just find it hard to believe that in test nothing like this popped up.
Hell I will fly Ken and Jermey out my way put them up in a motel if they can fix it.

Ray here.
The adder is back on after finding a new o-ring..
Its suppose to be about 8 degree's tomorrow morning nothing should run rich in that.
The adder chip did not come back to life so testing with that is out...
I did start the motor and ran it till warm up just in case it had to learn something with the
IAC step thing..

Back in the Morning..

Ground straps showed up today. One side of the terminal was the wrong size so cut and crimped new ends on one side. Had to 3 that way. But got a big azz 0 gauge ground strap. Looks like a ground that goes to a power poll. Lol. I will be damn if they say my **** isn't grounded. Lmao.

Now give me your opinions and I know you will. On the block I have 2 holes. 1 is being used for the battery ground. Should I take the new ground strap from the empty hole to the frame. Or double up on that one hole to the battery and then to the frame with new strap.
It won't make a difference but just wanted to see what you all think lol.

Is the first hole from battery to frame? Or motor to frame?
I say battery, frame and motor should be all connected as long as you have a good contact free of paint/rust and then protect it from getting corroded it shouldn't make a difference how it's run.
