Is this too low for the steam port connection?

I already had the threaded bung in my radiator so I thought I would run my steam line to it. Now I am thinking it may be too low on the radiator to be effective.

So, is this okay or not? Thanks.

I think you will be fine. Some tap the water pump for the steam line and that's lower than your setup.

Correct ...I have mine in the waterpump and it's at least as low as yours...if not lower

That will be fine...that port is usually where the temp sensor for the fans is installed...

Where is your fan temp switch located?

There is a probe that goes between the radiator fins that senses the temperature. Check it out:

Way to go...just like the old days of aftermarket AC kits....so long as their system recognizes the input from the sensor correctly you should be good....

Follow the install location recommendations.
