Blazer Bucket Seat Cover Sources

Hey Gang,

I'm looking for covers for the blazer buckets (72) that are destined for my C10 simple blue vinyl with blue/black houndstooth inserts.

I had planned on buying from Rick's Upholstery in Kentucky but after calling them today and getting a quote of $600 for a pair of seat covers I'm reconsidering.

Those of you who have recovered blazer buckets, where did you get your covers from and were you happy with them?

Nobody has an opinion on where to get good quality covers for bucket seats?

Hit up forum member truckseats.

Edit: well it seems Truckseats is no longer in business. Have you looked at Brothers offerings.

Re: Blazer Bucket Seat Cover Sources

The usual recommended sources are USA1 Industries or PUI, I also have used Classic Industries for a bench seat I recovered and I love it... but it probably came from one of those two, too. There are a lot of similarities between the 69 seats all the way to 77 that only a member of the board might notice, so it depends upon how much of a purist you are. You might see something you like.

Good upholstery is crazy expensive, but I have learned that you get what you pay for most times. I've heard Rick's is good.

You know how the mattress salesman asks you why you would be cheap with something you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping on? I am focusing more on interiors than I used to. I think we would all love to see pics of the project, that gets the comments going.

Re: Blazer Bucket Seat Cover Sources

I have purchased two sets from Tim(TruckSeats) manufactured by Truck World. The quality was exceptional...though Truck World can take a while.

If I had to order a set today, there are a few Truck World distributors on the board...but the first one that comes to mind is Tom (t korinek).

Though it looks like he's short on supply right now too:

That's sounds like a pretty fair price. It cost me $2200 for OE style covers for my '73 Z28

Unhappy Re: Blazer Bucket Seat Cover Sources

I bought mine through LMC..... because I couldn't wait 3-4 months
They were PUI brand
The fit and finish was good and with new springs and foam they turned out nice.

Re: Blazer Bucket Seat Cover Sources

Call and talk to the guys at https://carsinc.com/ . I just ordered a bench from them. They have an in-house upholstery shop at their facility in Michigan, and they have a lot of NOS fabric in stock. They said they are currently running 12-14 weeks out.
