What year is inst. cluster from?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33695

What year is this instrument cluster from? Notice it has a vacuum gauge and tach. And what is strange to me is that the fuel gauge is built-in to the tach. Is that normal?

Looks like 73-78 vintage and from one of those real big Chevy/GMC trucks like a C-50.

BigRed:
These have been discussed before in the forum. Have you tried running a search? I remember someone posting about the tach in the fuel gauge.

73-75 C50/C60, why? AMP instead of Volt meter, lack of Km/H, fuel in the tach (C60) Numbers instead of H---C for temp....

Unless you have a 73-75, it will be an adventure getting it to work in a 76-up that had a Volt. It CAN be made to work with ALOT of changes, but it won't "bolt-in".

Definietly from thge bigger Chevy trucks. Looks like from the 73-80 because of the needle color & the way the gauges are labeled

I found a full-size in a junkyard here with the fuel gauge in the tach. So it could be a regular truck, just from a special package.

Thanks guys! I don't want this cluster, but was interested in it because it looked different to me. I will be keeping my gauges until I can get aftermarkets.

Navybear, did you drop the cluster you found in your truck? How did the transition go? What were you changing from? what year, etc.
