Reverse lights wont stay on

Hey,

Recently tightened my tilt steering and not sure if this is why but now my reverse lights light up for about a second and turn off when putting in reverse. If you go from neutral back to reverse they wont light up at all.

Could have been that way from the beginning....never checked

Ideas?

Thanks,
Pat

Re: Reverse lights wont stay on

My dad had a similar problem. Turned out to be something in the wiring around the neutral safety switch on the column.
